P2SK Law Drives Downstreaming, Indonesia Becomes Price Setter for Nickel and Copper

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - CNBC Indonesia presented the CNBC Investment Forum 2026 to discuss the opportunities and challenges of implementing Law Number 4 of 2023 concerning the Development and Strengthening of the Financial Sector (P2SK) in reinforcing the financial sector as the driving force of the Indonesian economy. Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia, Sari Yuliati, stated at the Investment Forum 2026 that amidst lingering global uncertainty, Indonesia remains an epicentre of resilient growth, supported by fiscal discipline, monetary prudence, and structural reforms through the ratification of the P2SK Law. The P2SK Law is a state manifestation to recalibrate Indonesia’s growth engine through strengthening financial market deepening and expanding financing access.
