OXMIQ Labs and AM Intelligence Labs Partner to Design One of the World's Largest Renewable Energy-Backed AI Computing Platforms

Campbell, California and Hyderabad, India – OXMIQ Labs, a GPU architecture and artificial intelligence (AI) technology company founded by Raja Koduri, today announced a strategic technology partnership with AM Intelligence Labs, a business division of AM Group. The partnership aims to provide data centre infrastructure and system consulting services to support AM Intelligence Labs’ 2 GW AI computing capacity by 2030. The initial AI computing facility has a capacity of 1 GW and is located in Uttar Pradesh, India.
AM Intelligence Labs is a strategic business division of AM Group, the parent company of Greenko, India’s largest clean energy producer. The company operates 50 GW of renewable energy capacity encompassing solar, wind, and hydropower, supported by an intelligent energy storage system with 100 GWh capacity, and supplies approximately 2% of India’s total electricity demand. This energy is independently owned and operated, and is offered at a carbon-free price 50–70% cheaper compared to conventional data centre electricity costs.
India represents a rapidly expanding market for global AI economic demands. Driven by its massive developer ecosystem, digital economy, and rapidly growing corporate AI adoption, the country has emerged as the world’s second-largest market for AI token usage and consumption.
AM Group has commenced development of its flagship AI infrastructure initiative, with Phase 1 of the Noida Compute Hub now in active implementation. Operating initial computing capacity by the end of 2027 will represent a significant milestone for the Group in building one of the world’s largest renewable energy-backed AI computing platforms. OXMIQ is working closely with AM Group to optimise system architecture, infrastructure design, and modular execution delivery to ensure the platform is deployed rapidly whilst achieving best-in-class efficiency and scale.
In this partnership, OXMIQ will serve as the architectural and engineering partner for the computing platform, collaborating with AM Intelligence Labs in designing system architecture, hardware roadmap, and supply chain strategy that will form the foundation of the facility. OXMIQ possesses deep expertise spanning all types of computing, from transistor-level GPU architecture and advanced packaging to rack-sized systems, high-performance interconnects, and orchestration software required to operate AI workloads at scale. Together, this partnership delivers comprehensive optimisation from photon to result, ultimately making zetta-scale economics accessible to all.
AM Group is currently developing a 1 GW high-performance AI Compute Centre in Noida as a fully vertically integrated platform encompassing its own carbon-free power generation, advanced data centre infrastructure, high-performance accelerators, a comprehensive software suite, applications, and flexible consumption models ranging from AI Pods-as-a-Service to Tokens-as-a-Service.
OXMIQ’s deep expertise across all types of computing enables the platform to be designed for comprehensive optimisation, from photon to token. Each layer, from renewable energy generation through to data centre architecture, liquid cooling, interconnection topology, accelerator selection, and workload orchestration, will be designed as an integrated system. This integrated approach unlocks leading electron-to-token economic opportunities in the industry, delivering AI computing at far lower costs at gigawatt scale.
