Police have arrested a man with the initials YD alias BKD, the owner of 535 grams of methamphetamine that was being smuggled into Bima Regency by two men from West Lombok. The two couriers, identified as SH (46) and SL (42), were previously arrested. YD was apprehended in Tuban, East Java, on Thursday (25/6/2026) following a joint investigation by the Bima Police Narcotics Unit and the West Nusa Tenggara Regional Police Narcotics Directorate. He has since been detained at the Bima Police headquarters.

Following the arrest, police also identified the individual who ordered the half-kilogram of methamphetamine. The suspect, named Firdaus alias Daus (26), a resident of Talabiu Village, Woha District, Bima Regency, remains at large and has been placed on the wanted list since 1 July 2026. The two couriers, SH and SL, were initially arrested in Talabiu Village on Monday (22/6/2026) after police received a tip-off about a black Avanza transporting drugs to Bima. Authorities have pledged to continue investigating the case to dismantle the entire network.
