JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - The owner of Bibi Kelinci Kopitiam in Kemang, South Jakarta, Nabilah O’Brien, who was the victim of a theft, has become a suspect at Bareskrim Polri.

“I am a theft victim who has become a suspect at Bareskrim Polri. I remained silent for five months because I was afraid to speak out,” Nabilah said, quoted by Antara on Friday (6 March 2026).

She also said that for five months she was asked to admit that what she stated and the CCTV footage she showed were defamation.

“For five months, I was asked to admit that what I disclosed and my CCTV footage are defamation, and I was asked for Rp 1 billion. I have tried every possible way to defend myself; I am really afraid,” Nabilah said.

Therefore, she appealed to the Commission III of the House of Representatives and to Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo to deliver justice for her.

“Sir/Madam Commission III of DPR RI and Police Chief, I beg you to provide (legal) certainty. I am a theft victim. I hope for a continuation of my life and I am confident justice can be upheld. This is all I can do. I do not know where to seek shelter,” Nabilah said.

Meanwhile, Mampang Prapatan Police Chief AKP Dian Purnomo confirmed that Nabilah had reported to Bareskrim by a husband-and-wife duo identified by initials ZK and ESR.

“Correct, the two reporters (ZK and ESR) have become suspects,” Dian Purnomo told Kompas.com.

The two suspects ZK and ESR have been summoned for questioning on 9 March 2026. However, they requested a postponement.

“Counsel for the suspects has forwarded a letter requesting a postponement of the examination,” Dian said.

Earlier, the husband-and-wife duo with initials ZK and ESR were reported to the police for allegedly taking away 14 orders of food and drinks from a restaurant in Kemang, Mampang Prapatan, South Jakarta.

The restaurant owner’s police report, namely Nabilah, was registered under number LP/B/048/IX/2025/SPKT/Polsek Mampang/Polres Metro Jaksel/Polda Metro Jaya.

Initially, the alleged theft incident began when the couple visited Nabilah’s restaurant. They ordered 11 meals and three drinks worth a total of Rp530,150.

The couple felt their order took too long to arrive. They then walked into the kitchen and took the ordered food.

However, they left the restaurant without paying for the meals and drinks ordered. They face charges under Article 363 of the Indonesian Penal Code concerning theft.

As of this report, there has been no response from Johnny and Trunoyudo.
