Overturned Box Truck Causes Congestion on Toll Road to Soekarno-Hatta Airport, Now Evacuated

Congestion occurred along the Sedyatmo Toll Road heading towards Soekarno-Hatta International Airport as a result of a box truck overturning on the lower lane.

“The cause of the congestion was a box truck that overturned at Km 24 heading towards the airport on the lower lane,” said Head of Operational Guidance of the Jakarta Metropolitan Police Traffic Directorate, Police Commissioner Roby Hefados, when contacted on Tuesday (24/2/2026).

Roby stated that the overturned box truck caused congestion from 09.15 Western Indonesian Time. However, the vehicle has since been evacuated.

“It has now been evacuated. The incident lasted from 09.15 to 10.30 Western Indonesian Time,” Roby explained.

Meanwhile, regarding traffic conditions, he said that the process of dispersing the congestion has already begun.

“The congestion is already in the process of clearing,” he said.
