The iron flooring of the viaduct at Jl. Daan Mogot, in front of the Immigration Complex, West Jakarta, has become too rusty to properly support the weight of pedestrians and needs repairing. Pedestrians must walk on the part where the girders are for a safe crossing. Crossing the bridge at night can be dangerous as there is no lighting.

The bridge is used daily by a lot of people, especially school children. These children, who are oblivious to the bad condition of the bridge, like to run carelessly. The rusty iron plate may cause severe injury when trod on.

Therefore I would like to call on the authorities to have it repaired before it claims a victim.
