Overhead Power Line Disruption Resolved, Bojonggede-Citayam Commuter Rail Service Resumes Normal Operations

Commuter Line services on the Bojonggede-Citayam route experienced operational disruptions to the overhead power line (LAA) this afternoon. Repairs to the overhead power line disruption have now been completed.

“The repairs to the operational disruption of the Overhead Power Line (LAA) between Bojonggede and Citayam stations have been completed,” stated the KAI Commuter X account (@commuterline) on Wednesday (11/3/2026).

Commuter Line traffic on the Bojonggede-Citayam route and in the reverse direction can now use both tracks. Currently, the Bojonggede-Citayam route in both directions is undergoing congestion clearance procedures.

“Commuter Line traffic on the Bojonggede-Citayam route and in the reverse direction can now use both tracks and is undergoing decongestion procedures on the line,” stated @commuterline.

“We apologise for any inconvenience caused,” the statement added.

Previously, KRL services to Bogor were delayed at several stations due to the overhead power line disruption.
