Bogor — Overflow flooding from the Cikeas River swept through the RT 03 RW 07 Pasir Village area in Katulampa District, Bogor City, on Tuesday afternoon, 10 March 2026.

Katulampa District Head Deni Ramdhani explained that the flooding occurred at 15:15 local time and affected 15 houses. “This incident has had a wide impact on the community, with road access cut off. This requires immediate action. The severed road is still barely passable by motorcycle. This also needs swift measures,” Deni told reporters at the scene on Tuesday.

According to him, overflow flooding frequently occurs during heavy rainfall, but this incident was more severe than typical occurrences. Nevertheless, Deni stated that residents can still use alternative road access to carry out their daily activities.

The district administration is currently conducting an inventory of affected infrastructure to be reported to the relevant authorities. “We are documenting everything. The road, the madrasah, and the prayer hall are commonly used by local residents for evening prayers, Islamic study sessions, and congregational prayer,” he said.

Additionally, a section of road adjacent to the Cikeas River was observed to have subsided, whilst the rear wall of the prayer hall in the area also collapsed due to the force of the floodwaters.
