Over a Dozen Unlicensed Buildings and Street Vendor Stalls in Citeureup Demolished

Joint enforcement officers have demolished over a dozen unlicensed buildings (bangli) on Jalan Sabilillah in Citeureup District, Bogor, West Java. The structures were erected without official permits.

“The Bogor Regency Public Order Agency (Satpol PP), together with the Citeureup District Satpol PP Unit and the Bogor Regency Transportation Agency, carried out the enforcement against unlicensed buildings and street vendor stalls occupying the road right-of-way in Citeureup,” said Rhama Kodara, Head of Public Order at the Bogor Regency Satpol PP, on Thursday (25/6/2026).

The enforcement operation took place from morning until midday. Rhama stated that a total of 17 unlicensed buildings were dismantled during the operation.

“The total number of buildings that have been enforced against is 17,” he explained.

Rhama noted that six of the buildings were dismantled independently by their owners, while the remaining 11 were taken down manually by officers.

“Prior to the enforcement, the building owners had received an enforcement notification letter and were informed to dismantle the buildings independently,” he explained.

Rhama said the enforcement was carried out based on Bogor Regency Regional Regulation Number 8 of 2025 concerning the Implementation of Public Order and Community Peace as well as Protection of the Community.

“The activity proceeded safely, smoothly, and in a conducive manner,” he concluded.
