Over 2.37 Million Vehicles Have Passed Through the Tangerang-Merak Toll Road
Tangerang Regency (ANTARA) - Astra Infra Group through PT Marga Mandalasakti (MMS), the operator of the Tangerang-Merak Toll Road (Tamer), recorded a total of 2.37 million vehicles passing through the Tangerang-Merak Toll Road (Tamer) from H-10 to H+5 of Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijriah, or the period from 11 to 26 March 2026.
“The total traffic flow passing through the Tangerang-Merak Toll Road section cumulatively amounted to 2,371,042 vehicles from H-10 of Eid on Wednesday (11/3) to Thursday (26/3),” said the Head of the CSR and Public Relations Management Department of Astra Toll Tangerang-Merak PT MMS, Uswatun Hasanah, in Tangerang, Banten, on Friday.
Regarding this achievement of over 2.37 million vehicle crossings, the average daily traffic was 151,676 vehicles.
“This is 2.5 percent lower than the same period during Eid 2025, or a decrease of 3.8 percent compared to the normal average daily traffic (LHR),” she stated.
Furthermore, Uswatun continued, the daily traffic reached 57,246 vehicles and experienced a seven percent increase compared to the normal average daily traffic (LHR). “However, it fell 7.7 percent compared to the same period in 2025,” she said.
Meanwhile, for outbound traffic (entrance) at the Merak Toll Gate, the traffic flow heading to Merak Port and its surroundings from 23 to 26 March 2026 was recorded at 68,841 vehicles.
On 26 March 2026, the traffic volume reached 16,478 vehicles, down 15.1 percent compared to the same period the previous year, but up 109.1 percent compared to the normal LHR.
