Rivan said that the number equates to 63.79% of the total projection of 3.39 million vehicles expected to return to Jabotabek during the period from 11-31 March 2026.

Rivan stated that Jasa Marga is reinstating the toll fare discount programme to distribute the return flow more evenly.

“We remind the public to take advantage of the 30% toll discount programme applicable on nine strategic Jasa Marga Group routes. The programme is being reimplemented today on 26 March 2026 until 27 March 2026 with a continuous journey scheme, in the hope that it can encourage more even traffic distribution,” said Rivan, quoted from an official statement, Thursday (26/03/2026).

In addition, he reminded drivers of three-axle or more vehicles to comply with the operational restrictions for goods vehicles in effect from 13-29 March 2026 in accordance with the Joint Ministerial Decree (SKB) on traffic arrangements during the Lebaran 2026 mudik and return period.

Rivan also urged the public to ensure travel readiness, including driver and vehicle conditions, sufficient fuel, and electronic money balance. Road users are also asked to obey signs and instructions from officers and not to linger in rest areas to avoid congestion.
