Over 170,000 Citizens Benefit from FIFGROUP's Public Contribution
The social responsibility programme of PT Federal International Finance has directly benefited more than 170,000 citizens across Indonesia over the past three years. FIFGROUP Director Daniel Hartono announced this during the Astra Media Day event at Menara Astra, Jakarta, on Wednesday (23/09/2026).
“This is the result of FIFGROUP’s support for sustainable business transformation through the integration of sustainability principles in the Triple-P Roadmap, which covers Portfolio, People, and Public Contribution through four main pillars: FIFGROUP Sehat, FIFGROUP Pintar, FIFGROUP Sejahtera, FIFGROUP Lestari, and one supporting pillar: FIFGROUP Peduli,” said Daniel.
Regarding the Portfolio pillar, Daniel stated that FIFGROUP is implementing two main strategies: Nurturing Existing Business by strengthening strategic partnerships and maintaining high customer retention, and Capitalising on the Astra Ecosystem by strengthening collaboration with AstraPay and Bank Saqu to optimise customer engagement across all service points. Meanwhile, under the People pillar, FIFGROUP maintains long-term organisational excellence by strengthening organisational capabilities through a human resource readiness strategy.
“This strategy is supported by three elements: continuous development, sustainable leadership pipelines, and a supportive working environment,” Daniel continued.
Daniel noted that various programmes are being conducted to support the implementation of the People pillar, including the FIFGROUP Internship Program, FIFGROUP Young Leader (FYLE), FIFirstep, and FIFriendibility. Furthermore, FIFGROUP is executing sustainability programmes based on Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles through its Public Contribution strategy, which aims to support community empowerment and provide a positive impact on the environment.
From the beginning of this year until July 2026, Daniel stated that FIFGROUP’s Public Contribution programmes have reached more than 35,000 beneficiaries. Since Astra’s standardised calculation for beneficiaries was established in 2023, the cumulative number of beneficiaries from FIFGROUP’s Public Contribution programmes has reached over 170,000.
“The Public Contribution strategy is realised through four main pillars, namely FIFGROUP Sehat through blood donation programmes, stunting prevention and intervention (Secanting), strengthening Posyandu capacity, Primary Service Integration (ILP), and FIFGROUP Healthy Village,” Daniel added.
Furthermore, the FIFGROUP Pintar pillar is realised through financial literacy programmes via the MENYALA programme (Voicing Literacy Through Action), FIFGROUP-sponsored early childhood education (PAUD) and vocational schools (SMK), as well as safety riding education, which has been held during Branch Festivals and the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2026 series. Under the FIFGROUP Sejahtera pillar, Daniel noted that FIFGROUP strives to continue the development and empowerment of MSMEs through FIFestival (an MSME culinary festival), MSME digitalisation, and MSME business incubation.
