Over 140,000 vehicles crossed the Gempol-Pandaan toll road section during the Eid period from 11 March 2026 to Wednesday, 18 March 2026. PT Jasamarga Pandaan Tol (JPT) recorded an increase in vehicle traffic volume ahead of Eid al-Fitr 2026.
General Manager of Operations at Jasamarga Pandaan Tol, Muhammad Reza Pahlevi Guntur, stated that up to the period (H-3) before Eid al-Fitr 2026, there had been no increase in traffic trends compared to normal conditions. However, there was a 2.02% increase in traffic compared to Eid 2025.
According to Reza, to provide optimal service during peak traffic density, Jasamarga has anticipated by monitoring areas prone to congestion and preparing countermeasures.
“To provide the best service, Jasamarga has mapped out congestion-prone points and prepared several traffic management scenarios to ensure that road users still experience comfort even in dense traffic conditions,” said Reza on Thursday, 19 March 2026.
In addition to traffic mapping, Jasamarga is optimising transaction services at the toll gates. This includes adding transaction facilities at the toll gates, such as preparing 10 mobile reader units to increase transaction points, operating reversible entrance lanes, and assigning personnel to assist with e-toll tapping processes,” he added.
PT Jasamarga Pandaan Tol recorded the traffic volume per toll gate up to the period (H-10 to H-3) as follows:
