Outrage! Pacitan Police Officer Allegedly Assaults 13-Year-Old Boy, Case Reported to East Java Police
Pacitan, VIVA – The case of alleged violence involving a member of the Bhabinkamtibmas unit, Bripka AD, in Pacitan, East Java, is widening. Not only reported for suspected domestic violence (KDRT), Bripka AD is now implicated in a case of alleged violence against an underage child.
The victim, initials RZ (13), claimed to have suffered physical violence resulting in bruises around his eye and temple. The incident reportedly occurred when he wanted to join a trip to Banyu Anget, Arjosari subdistrict, and asked his grandmother for money.
“I wanted to go to Banyu Anget at that time and asked my grandmother for money. Mas AD followed behind, opened the door hard, then punched me,” said RZ, quoted on Thursday, 9 April 2026.
RZ revealed that the violent act did not stop there. He claimed to have received further rough treatment, resulting in serious injuries to his head.
“After that, my leg was pulled, then my head was kicked with his knee multiple times. Mas AD wouldn’t stop, even though my grandmother tried to intervene. I had to beg for mercy to make it stop. I ran to a neighbour’s house. My injuries to the eye and temple were photographed and sent to my mum. After that, my grandmother picked me up and I was taken to RSUD dr. Darsono Pacitan,” he said.
As a result of the incident, RZ sustained bruises and a burst blood vessel around his eye. He also claimed to still be traumatised. Moreover, according to him, similar violence was not the first time it had occurred.
Meanwhile, the victim’s mother, Citra Margareta, expressed her dissatisfaction with the treatment. She affirmed that she would take the case to the legal realm for objective handling.
“As a parent, who would accept their child being treated like that? This is clearly violence against an underage child. I want to go to KPAI and the PPA Unit, but I will likely file the report at Polda Jatim for fairness. Because the perpetrator is a member of Polres Pacitan, I’m worried that if reported at the local police station, the handling won’t be impartial,” said Citra.
The victim’s family has decided to report the case directly to the East Java Provincial Police. This step was taken to ensure the legal process runs transparently, given that the alleged perpetrator is an active police member.
