Outrage Over Two Indonesian Migrant Workers' Claims of Being Forced by Employers to Service 450 Men Per Month
Two Indonesian migrant workers (PMI) are suspected to be victims of human trafficking (TPPO) in Saudi Arabia. They claim they were sold into prostitution. From their confessions that have spread on social media, they had to service up to 450 lecherous men in a month. The video of the two PMI’s confession was uploaded by the @bisikanneti account on Instagram on Wednesday (29/4/2025). “So in a month, I have to service 450 men. If I don’t meet the target, I don’t get paid,” the woman said in a fearful tone, as seen by detikBali from the viral video on Monday (4/5/2026). Escape During Shopping at the Mall In their confession, the victims said they went to Saudi Arabia after being promised jobs by a field worker with initials N, a woman. Upon arrival in Saudi Arabia, the two met a woman with initials Z. “So N promised via WA for work in Saudi Arabia. But we met Z. There, we were confined to service men. But we managed to escape while shopping at one of the malls,” the woman said as in the video viewed by detikBali. The Head of the Manpower and Transmigration Office (Disnakertrans) of NTB, Aidy Furqon, said his office has not yet been able to confirm whether the two PMI are residents of NTB. NTB Provincial Government Coordinates with the Foreign Ministry The NTB Provincial Government is still coordinating with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Kemenlu) and the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia (KBRI) in Saudi Arabia to confirm the victims’ identities. “It’s been a week since we contacted Kemenlu and the Embassy, there has been no confirmation regarding the information in the video. We also tried to contact the person who took the video, but they can no longer be reached,” he said on Monday (4/5/2026). Aidy added that his office continues to communicate with Kemenlu to ensure the condition of the two victims is safe. “If they are our PMI, hopefully they are okay, because we haven’t received any updates,” Aidy emphasised.
