On the evening of 11 April 2026, an X account named @sampahfhui posted a thread containing screenshots of conversations from a WhatsApp group of FH UI students. The conversations included various remarks deemed inappropriate, ranging from everyday vulgar language, objectification of women’s bodies, to lewd jokes about female students’ Instagram photos.
Even controversial phrases such as “silence means consent” and “rape principle” appeared. The post quickly spread widely and was viewed millions of times by netizens.

Not only the content of the conversations drew criticism, but the identities of several group members also became a focus. It is suspected that the members are not ordinary students, but individuals holding important positions in the campus environment, such as student organisation leaders, class representatives, and prospective orientation committee members. Some initials that emerged include VH, IK, DY, RM, Sp, and many others.

A day after going viral, on 12 April 2026, the Faculty of Law UI received an official report regarding the alleged violation of the student code of ethics. The case is also considered to potentially contain criminal elements, particularly related to sexual harassment.
