One of the Nutrition Fulfilment Service Units (SPPG) in Lingkok Berenge Village, Janapria Subdistrict, Central Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), is suspected of distributing free nutritious meal (MBG) menus at night. This was revealed through a video circulating on social media. Based on information gathered by detikBali, the MBG menu is said to be rations for toddlers, pregnant women, and breastfeeding mothers (B3) distributed via posyandu cadres. The posyandu cadres complained that the MBG menu distribution occurred around 9:30 PM WITA on Thursday (9/4/2026). As a result, the posyandu cadres were overwhelmed in distributing the MBG menu to the beneficiaries. The MBG menu consisted of boxed rice containing yellow curry vegetable dish and several longan fruits. “It’s unusual for MBG to be delivered at half past nine at night. How are the mothers supposed to come or not? If not, I’ll let it go stale,” said the posyandu cadre in the circulating video. One resident of Lingkok Berenge, Rindawanto Evendi, confirmed the incident. He stated that the MBG menu was delivered almost late at night to the posyandu cadre’s house, making it impossible to distribute to the beneficiaries and risking it going stale. “It was delivered to the posyandu cadre’s house already half past nine at night,” said Rindawanto when confirmed by detikBali on Thursday night. Rindawanto assessed that the SPPG management was inhumane for distributing MBG late at night and disturbing the posyandu cadres’ rest time. He also mentioned that the SPPG had committed several fatal errors before. “Because this SPPG has done fatal things nearly dozens of times. Today the cadre refused because it was delivered too late,” added Rindawanto. The fatal incidents he meant were several mistakes made by the SPPG side. Not long ago, he said, the MBG kitchen distributed rotten fruit that was already worm-infested, causing protests from the beneficiaries. Rindawanto urged the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) to take action against the SPPG. “The point is, we ask the BGN to act directly because the Central Lombok Task Force and law enforcement we suspect are ineffective,” he concluded. The Head of the NTB Regional National Nutrition Agency (BGN), Eko Prasetyo, promised to investigate the SPPG. He emphasised that every SPPG proven to have made mistakes will be sanctioned. “We will check. There is no SOP like this, we will investigate and first ask for statements from the SPPG,” said Eko.
