Oso's Message to Newly Inaugurated Hanura DPD Officials in DIY
The Central Executive Board (DPP) of the Hanura Party inaugurated the regional leadership (DPD) of the Hanura Party for the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY) for the 2026-2031 period in Yogyakarta on Monday, 14 September 2026. The new Hanura DIY officials affirmed their readiness to raise the ‘Lion Flag’ across all regions while preparing for upcoming democratic agendas.
“Based on the trust of the General Chairman, we will fly the Hanura Lion flag throughout the Yogyakarta Province and achieve maximum results in the 2029 General Election,” stated the Chairman of Hanura DIY, Heru Bantolo, during his inaugural speech following the inauguration.
Heru ensured that all levels of the DPD and the Regional Leadership Branches (DPC) of Hanura throughout the DIY Province will conduct thorough and continuous consolidation at every level of management. He emphasised that Hanura DIY will position its village and sub-district level management as the party’s spearhead in serving the community and executing future democratic agendas.
“We will also continue to maintain friendships with all political elements in the Yogyakarta Province. We hope Hanura becomes a political force that is a source of pride in Yogyakarta,” he explained.
On the same occasion, the Vice Chairman of the Central Executive Board for Organisation, Cadre, and Membership (OKK) of the Hanura Party, Akhmad Muqowam, delivered a speech and message from the General Chairman of Hanura, Oesman Sapta (Oso).
“Inauguration is not the end, but the beginning of responsibility. Prove who is working and what is being done, and what the benefits are for the organisation and the community,” Muqowam said while reading the General Chairman’s directives.
According to Muqowam, Oso requested that the entire new management not merely build structures on paper. He stated that the DPD must work to form DPCs, Sub-District Leadership (PAC), and all structures that possess cadres, activities, work agendas, and close relationships with the people at the grassroots level.
Aligning with the region, in accordance with Hanura’s slogan, must be translated into tangible work by all cadres, Muqowam continued.
“Cadres must be present when the local community encounters problems, listen to the people, understand the issues, fight for them, and oversee their implementation,” he said.
The General Chairman also advised that officials must not use their positions for personal interests. The interests of the organisation and the people must remain the priority.
“Do not return home carrying only a Decree (SK). Work seriously for the organisation, uphold the honour of the party, accompany the people, and let us welcome the 2029 General Election for the victory of Hanura,” he asserted.
