OSCT Indonesia Introduces New CEO, Reinforces Commitment to Maritime Protection
JAKARTA – PT OSCT Indonesia has strengthened its collaboration with the North Java Coast Management Authority (BOPPJ) in supporting the protection of the maritime environment and improving preparedness for tackling marine pollution in Indonesia. This commitment was demonstrated through a visit by BOPPJ to PT OSCT Indonesia’s headquarters on Friday (17/7/2026).
The event also served as a moment for the company to introduce its new Managing Director, Major General (Ret.) Kukuh Surya Sigit Sentosa.
OSCT Indonesia (Oil Spill Combat Team Indonesia) is a national private company operating in oil spill response and is one of the largest private oil spill response service centres in Indonesia.
The meeting aimed to strengthen synergy in supporting coastal area management and to improve preparedness for potential marine pollution.
On this occasion, Major General (Ret.) Kukuh Surya Sigit Sentosa was officially introduced to BOPPJ officials and invited guests. As a gesture of appreciation for the visit, PT OSCT Indonesia presented a memento to the Deputy Head II of BOPPJ, Suhajar Diantoro.
“This visit is a positive step towards strengthening communication and collaboration between PT OSCT Indonesia and BOPPJ. We are committed to continuing to support efforts to enhance national preparedness in tackling marine pollution through the experience, capability and services we possess,” said Kukuh in a statement on Wednesday (22/7/2026).
The event was also attended by Rear Admiral (Ret.) Bambang Naryono, Rear Admiral (Ret.) Edy Sulistyadi, Rear Admiral (Ret.) Agus Adriyanto, Major General (Ret.) Susilo Adi Purwantoro, and Commodore (Ret.) Taufik Arief.
The programme continued with a tour of the operational facilities at PT OSCT Indonesia’s headquarters. During the visit, guests received a presentation on the company’s capabilities in providing Oil Spill Response Equipment (OSRE) services, including oil spill response equipment and operational coordination systems to support responses to potential pollution in Indonesian waters.
Through this event, PT OSCT Indonesia reaffirmed its commitment to continuing to strengthen cooperation with the government, relevant institutions and various stakeholders. This synergy is expected to enhance national preparedness in facing marine pollution while supporting efforts to preserve coastal ecosystems and Indonesia’s maritime environment.
