OSCT Indonesia Introduces New CEO, Reinforces Commitment to Maritime Protection

PT OSCT Indonesia has strengthened its collaboration with the North Java Coast Management Authority (BOPPJ) to support maritime environmental protection and enhance marine pollution response preparedness in Indonesia. The commitment was underscored during a BOPPJ visit to the company’s headquarters on Friday, 17 July 2026. The occasion also served as a platform to introduce the company’s new President Director, retired Major General Kukuh Surya Sigit Sentosa. OSCT Indonesia (Oil Spill Combat Team Indonesia) is a national private company engaged in oil spill response and is one of the largest private oil spill service centres in the country. The meeting aimed to reinforce synergy in supporting coastal area management and improving preparedness for potential marine pollution. During the event, Kukuh was formally introduced to BOPPJ officials and invited guests. As a token of appreciation for the visit, PT OSCT Indonesia presented a memento to BOPPJ Deputy Head II, Suhajar Diantoro. ‘This visit is a good step to strengthen communication and collaboration between PT OSCT Indonesia and BOPPJ. We are committed to supporting national preparedness efforts in marine pollution response through our experience, capabilities, and services,’ Kukuh said in a statement on Wednesday, 22 July 2026. The event was also attended by several retired senior naval and military officers. The programme continued with a tour of the operational facilities at PT OSCT Indonesia’s headquarters, where guests received a briefing on the company’s capabilities in providing Oil Spill Response Equipment (OSRE), including spill response gear and operational coordination systems to support responses to potential pollution in Indonesian waters. Through this activity, PT OSCT Indonesia reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening cooperation with the government, relevant agencies, and various stakeholders. This synergy is expected to enhance national preparedness in dealing with marine pollution while supporting efforts to preserve coastal ecosystems and Indonesia’s maritime environment.
