Orphans get scholarships from Novotel

YOGYAKARTA: As part of it social program, hotel Novotel
Yogyakarta provided last week scholarships to two orphans who are
students of SMP Muhammadiyah X Yogyakarta junior high school.

Novotel Yogyakarta's general manager Fabrice Mini, who is also
the advisor of the hotel's Green Team 2005 -- a team that
oversees environmental and social programs -- officially
presented the scholarships on Saturday to the principal of the
junior high school.

Upon presenting the scholarships, Fabrice expressed hope that
the assistance would enable the two students to concentrate fully
on their studies.

He said it was his wish that the hotel's management and
employees would become like a second family to the orphans, and
invited both students to participate in special employee
activities. --JP
