ORI ensures every report is handled professionally in accordance with its authority
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Ombudsman of the Republic of Indonesia (ORI) ensures that every report received will be handled professionally in accordance with ORI’s authority. “When receiving public reports, we will first ensure whether the report falls under the authority of the Ombudsman RI, as well as assess whether the formal and material requirements have been met,” said Maneger Nasution, as quoted from a statement confirmed in Jakarta on Friday. Maneger Nasution conveyed this in relation to the visit by the Tapanuli Tengah Regency DPRD to ORI’s office in Jakarta on Thursday (30/4). He stated that ORI is an institution tasked with ensuring that public service provision runs smoothly. After that, he said the Ombudsman will take various necessary steps to ensure public reports are handled well in accordance with the authority it possesses. Maneger also expressed appreciation for the trust given to the Ombudsman RI. “On behalf of the Ombudsman RI, we convey our thanks for the presence and trust given,” he said. The meeting became a forum to discuss and explore several ongoing issues in order to find appropriate handling steps.
