Organisational Validation: Jayakarta Military Commander Appointed at Three-Star Rank

JAKARTA — The Commander of the Indonesian Armed Forces (TNI), General Agus Subiyanto, has carried out mutations and promotions of several senior military officers. In the latest reshuffle signed in Jakarta on Monday, 10 March 2026, the position of Commander of the Jayakarta Regional Military Command (Kodam Jaya/Jayakarta) has undergone organisational validation.

Previously, the Jayakarta Commander position was held by a two-star officer. It is now held by a three-star officer. Consequently, Major General Deddy Suryadi has been promoted to Jayakarta Commander with the rank of Lieutenant General.

Republika has attempted to confirm the matter with the Head of the TNI Information Centre (Kapuspen), Brigadier General Aulia Dwi Nasrullah. However, as of now, confirmation has not been received.

Nevertheless, Republika sources have confirmed the promotion and elevation of status for the Jayakarta Commander. Major General Deddy Suryadi was observed present at the Monas (National Monument) on Tuesday morning, 10 March 2026 Western Indonesian Time.
