Orderkuota Management Warns Public Against Fake Customer Service Contacts

Jakarta (ANTARA) - Orderkuota’s management is urging the public not to be deceived by fake Customer Service (CS) contacts circulating on search engines, including Google’s AI Overview feature. The company’s legal team, Aprillya, stated in Jakarta on Tuesday that all WhatsApp contacts claiming to be Orderkuota CS on the internet are fraudulent and potentially harmful. The company confirmed it has received multiple reports from users who were victims of or nearly ensnared by scams after contacting fake numbers found via search engines. Orderkuota emphasised that it does not provide customer service through personal WhatsApp numbers or any unofficial channels. In response to the misleading information, which not only damages the platform’s reputation but also threatens users’ personal data security and causes financial loss, the company is taking comprehensive mitigation steps. In addition to intensifying security education via social media and its application, Orderkuota is actively gathering evidence and reporting fake accounts, numbers, and links to the relevant digital platform managers and government channels. The company reiterated that official customer service will never request sensitive personal data under any circumstances, including transaction PINs, OTP codes, passwords, or verification codes, nor will it instruct users to transfer funds to private accounts. Orderkuota urged the public to always conduct independent verification within the official application before trusting any external assistance information, prioritising user transaction security and data protection.
