Oracle reports strong Q3 2026 results
San Francisco — Oracle Corporation, the American software company, on Tuesday, 10 March, reported strong financial results for the third quarter of fiscal year 2026.
The achievement was driven by rapid growth in cloud services and increasing demand for artificial intelligence computing.
Oracle reported that total revenue recorded during the quarter reached $17.2 billion (1 US dollar = Rp16,879), up 22 per cent year-over-year. Meanwhile, revenue from cloud services increased 44 per cent to $8.9 billion.
Net income based on generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) reached $3.7 billion, with earnings per share recorded at $1.27, up 24 per cent from the same period last year.
On a non-GAAP basis, Oracle’s net income reached $5.2 billion, with earnings per share recorded at $1.79, up 21 per cent year-over-year.
Revenue from cloud infrastructure services reached $4.9 billion, representing an 84 per cent year-over-year increase. Total revenue from cloud applications reached $4 billion, up 13 per cent.
Oracle reported that remaining performance obligations reached $553 billion, surging 325 per cent from a year earlier. The company stated that the majority of this increase was related to large-scale AI contracts.
In the last 12 months, Oracle’s operating cash flow reached $23.5 billion, up 13 per cent year-over-year, the company disclosed.
The company also stated that demand for AI cloud computing capacity continues to exceed supply, particularly for AI training and inference workloads. Oracle said that various advances in AI-powered code generation have enabled it to accelerate software development and expand its Software as a Service (SaaS) offerings whilst reducing costs.
Oracle projects revenue growth in the fourth quarter between 19 and 21 per cent, whilst cloud revenue is projected to increase between 46 and 50 per cent.
For fiscal year 2026, Oracle reaffirmed its revenue projection at $67 billion, with capital expenditure recorded at $50 billion. The company raised its revenue projection for fiscal year 2027 to $90 billion.
