The Regional Leadership Council (DPD) of the People’s Conscience Party (Hanura) in South Kalimantan held a fun walk and organisational consolidation event in Landasan Ulin, Banjarbaru, on Sunday (30/8).

Attended by thousands of cadres and sympathisers, the event was organised to commemorate the 81st Anniversary of Indonesia’s Independence and to strengthen party solidarity in preparation for the 2029 General Election.

From 07:00 WITA, the atmosphere at the Hanura South Kalimantan Regional Office was vibrant. Thousands of participants, dressed in red and white sportswear featuring the Lion Head logo, gathered at the starting point. The 3.5-kilometre route proceeded from the front of the Hanura South Kalimantan Regional Office and concluded at the Sayed Jafar Alaydrus (SJA) Building.

The walk was led directly by the Chairman of the Hanura Central Leadership (DPP) Task Force, Patrice Rio Capella, alongside the Chairman of Hanura South Kalimantan, Sayed Jafar Alaydrus (SJA), and various officials from the central to the regional levels across South Kalimantan.

Momentum for Strengthening Solidarity

Patrice Rio Capella, Chairman of the Hanura DPP Task Force, expressed high appreciation for the public’s enthusiasm. He noted that this agenda serves as the starting point for the party’s significant steps in building closer ties with the community in ‘Bumi Antasari’.
