Oppo Wide-Screen Phone Display Specifications Leaked

Jakarta (ANTARA) – Several reports say Oppo is developing a wide-screen smartphone similar to the Huawei Pura X View.

According to a Gizmochina report published on Thursday (15 October), this information was further supported by technology leaker Digital Chat Station (DCS), who shared the latest details about the phone’s display specifications in a post on Weibo.

DCS said Oppo is currently testing an engineering prototype of the wide-screen flagship phone.

Although the listed resolution is 2,560 × 1,440, it remains unclear whether Oppo will market the display as 1.5K or 2K, given that its reported pixel density is equivalent to that of a conventional 1.5K screen.

According to DCS, the display’s viewing area is comparable to that of a conventional phone with a 6.8- to 7-inch (17.8 cm) screen.

For photography, the phone is expected to have two 200-megapixel rear cameras, one of which uses a periscope telephoto sensor.

The phone’s official commercial name has not yet been revealed. Some rumours suggest it will be marketed as the Oppo Reno X.

However, the use of a flagship chipset and its positioning as a “Pro” model have led to speculation that the device could be part of the Find X10 series, possibly under the name Oppo Find X10 Pro Mini.
