Oppo to Use Similar Camera Sensor as iPhone 17
Jakarta (ANTARA) - Oppo and Huawei have previously been reported to offer smartphones using a front camera sensor also possessed by Apple for the iPhone 17. GSM Arena on Tuesday reported that one party knowledgeable about this matter stated that the company is now testing a square 1:1 sensor for the front camera. Although the leaker did not mention the brand, the emojis used in the post suggest that the device in question may come from Oppo. Looking at the specifications, the iPhone 17 series currently uses a 1:1 18MP sensor. With that sensor, users are enabled to take selfies in portrait or landscape mode without having to rotate the phone. Although no additional details were shared, Oppo may introduce this camera upgrade along with the Find X10 series, which is expected to launch next October.
