Oppo Reno 16 to be released on 25 May 2026; check the leaked specifications
Oppo has announced that the new Oppo Reno 16 Series smartphones will debut in China on 25 May 2026 at 18:00 local time. According to Gizmochina’s report on Monday 18 May, the series is expected to comprise two models: Oppo Reno 16 and Oppo Reno 16 Pro. Leaks about the devices’ specifications have circulated online ahead of the launch. According to the circulating leaks, the Oppo Reno 16 will use a 6.32-inch flat OLED display with a 1.5K resolution. The Reno 16 Pro is expected to feature a 6.78-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and adaptive LTPO refresh rate technology. Both models are said to use a mid-frame made of metal and come in several colour options. The Reno 16 is reportedly equipped with a 6,700mAh battery, while the Reno 16 Pro is expected to have a 7,000mAh battery. Both models are said to support 80W wired fast charging; the Reno 16 Pro is likely to support 50W wireless charging. The Reno 16 is said to be available in Fairy Purple, Lucky Clover, Black Horse, and Heartbeat Star, while the Reno 16 Pro will be offered in Dream Blue, Black Horse, and Heartbeat Star. In addition to the new phones, Oppo is reported to be preparing Oppo Bubble accessories that may feature a smart electronic display with support for custom wallpapers and remote photography control. The Reno 16 series smartphones are expected to roll out to global markets in June or July 2026.
