Oppo Find X10 Pro Max in development, featuring 200MP telephoto camera

The Oppo Find X10 Pro Max is reportedly still in the development stage, following previous rumours that the launch of the flagship smartphone had been delayed or even cancelled.

According to recent information from tech leaker Digital Chat Station, as reported by Gizmochina, the development of the Oppo Find X10 Pro Max has not been halted. This information refutes speculations that have been circulating over the past few weeks regarding the continuation of the device’s development.

Digital Chat Station noted that prototype models of the Oppo Find X10 Pro Max are currently being tested with a single periscope telephoto camera, rather than the dual telephoto camera configuration previously rumoured. This periscope telephoto camera is said to utilise a large 200-megapixel sensor. Some prototypes under testing are reported to use sensors ranging from 1/1.28-inch to 1/1.4-inch and 1/1.56-inch sizes.

Digital Chat Station also suggested that all ‘Pro Max’ models from the brand will likely support macro telephoto features, allowing users to capture close-up images using the periscope camera.

In addition to the 200MP telephoto camera, the Oppo Find X10 Pro Max is rumoured to be equipped with a 200MP main camera with a 1/1.3-inch sensor. For the ultrawide camera, Oppo is considering the use of either a 200MP or a 50MP sensor.

Leaked specifications reveal that the Oppo Find X10 Pro Max will feature a 6.89-inch 2K LTPO OLED display. In terms of performance, the phone is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9600 series chipset, supported by a battery capacity of approximately 7,000 mAh.
