Oppo Find N6 Foldable Smartphone Launched, Claims Crease-Free Display
Oppo has officially launched its latest foldable smartphone, the Find N6, which brings several significant improvements, particularly in hinge design and display technology.
The device is positioned as the newest generation offering a smoother foldable display experience compared to its predecessor. One of the key highlights of the Find N6 is Oppo’s claim that the crease mark on the display is now barely visible. To achieve this, Oppo redesigned the hinge with a second-generation Titanium Flexion design that is wider and features a smoother curve when folded.
Additionally, Oppo has applied zero-feel crease technology. Through high-precision laser scanning and 3D polymer-based printing techniques, surface irregularities on the hinge can be reduced from approximately 0.2 mm to just 0.05 mm.
With this combination, the screen fold is not only fainter when in use but is also expected to not deteriorate over an extended period.
Oppo also claims that the Find N6 has passed TÜV Rheinland certification for durability of up to 600,000 folds with the screen remaining flat, and up to 1 million folds overall.
According to Oppo, as reported by GSM Arena, innovation on the Find N6 is focused on addressing the main challenges of foldable phones, including fold visibility and device durability. Oppo has also affirmed that the technology used allows the screen to remain comfortable for long-term use.
In terms of performance, the Oppo Find N6 is powered by a flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset combined with RAM up to 16 GB LPDDR5X and storage up to 1 TB UFS 4.1.
The device is equipped with a 6,000 mAh silicon-carbon battery with support for 80W SuperVOOC fast charging and 50W AirVOOC charging.
Both displays support Dolby Vision and high brightness levels up to 3,600 nits on the outer screen.
For the camera, the Find N6 features a primary 200 MP camera with a 1/1.56-inch sensor, supported by a 70 mm telephoto camera and a 50 MP ultra-wide camera that includes autofocus. Front cameras on both screens have 20 MP resolution.
The phone is also equipped with IP56, IP58, and IP59 durability certifications and runs Android 16 with ColorOS 16. Oppo promises operating system updates for up to five years and security updates for up to six years.
