OPPO A7 Pro series 5G with 'massive battery' ready to enter Indonesia

Jakarta (ANTARA) - OPPO has officially confirmed that its new smartphone series, featuring super-large battery capacities, the OPPO A7 Pro series 5G, will be entering the Indonesian market.

Two models will be available in Indonesia: the OPPO A7 Pro 5G and the OPPO A7 Pro Max 5G. Both are promised to feature ‘massive’ battery capacities and are equipped with battery endurance designed for long-term usage.

“We are bringing the ‘tough phone’ DNA to the next level by providing more comprehensive durability, including batteries up to 10,000 mAh designed to maintain battery health above 80 per cent after up to six years of use,” said Jiang Linlin, Chief Marketing Officer of OPPO Indonesia, in a press statement in Jakarta on Wednesday.

Examining the specifications of the OPPO A7 Pro series 5G, OPPO promises super-large batteries not only for the OPPO A7 Pro Max 5G but also for the OPPO A7 Pro 5G.

For the OPPO A7 Pro Max 5G, the device features a 10,000 mAh battery, making it the largest battery capacity ever released by OPPO. This battery is engineered to maintain its health above 80 per cent after 2,000 full charging cycles, equivalent to approximately six years of use.

In addition to battery performance, OPPO promises stable operating system performance by introducing ColorOS Smoothness Boost, which ensures an optimal user experience even after system updates.

Camera performance is also a key attraction for both handsets. OPPO is introducing a 50 MP Ultra-wide AI Zoom selfie camera feature with a field of view of up to 100 degrees. With this feature, users can easily take group selfies without the fear of friends being left out of important captured moments.

To mark its entry into the Indonesian market, OPPO is offering an attractive promotion throughout October 2026, which includes a 2x memory upgrade. Through this offer, users purchasing the 128GB internal memory option will receive an upgrade to 256GB at no additional cost.

OPPO is also including Battery Health Insurance for up to six years, should the battery health drop below 80 per cent during the protection period. Users can obtain one free official battery replacement via the MyOPPO application.
