OPPO A7 Pro Max Debuts Globally with Massive 10,000 mAh Battery
OPPO has quietly expanded the marketing of one of its mid-range smartphones outside of China by debuting the OPPO A7 Pro Max in the global market.
Identical to its Chinese release, the smartphone debuts with a massive 10,000 mAh battery and a unique feature known as “Breathing Light.”
According to a report from Gizmochina on Monday (21/9) local time, the phone has made its global debut in three markets: Austria, Malaysia, and Thailand. For users seeking long-lasting battery life, the OPPO A7 Pro Max presents a compelling option.
The most prominent feature is undoubtedly the 10,000 mAh battery capacity, which is among the largest currently available in the smartphone market. This battery supports 80W wired fast charging, with claims that a full charge can be achieved in approximately 90 minutes under ideal conditions. It also features 27W reverse charging, allowing users to charge other devices when necessary.
OPPO utilises silicon-carbon battery technology, which is designed to be more durable and retain more capacity over numerous charging cycles.
Beyond the battery, the device offers solid mid-range specifications. The display features a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel with a resolution of 2,772 × 1,272 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of up to 1,800 nits.
Under the hood, the phone is powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 (4nm) processor, paired with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. Video recording is supported at a maximum of 1080p/30fps for both the front and rear cameras.
While the camera specifications are not particularly exceptional, the device features a camera design reminiscent of the Xiaomi Mix Fold 4. Additionally, the unique multi-colour “Breathing Light” feature gives the phone a distinctive appearance.
The handset boasts an IP69K rating for water and dust resistance, an in-display optical fingerprint sensor, and NFC capabilities. Running on ColorOS 16 based on Android 16, the phone remains relatively portable despite its large battery, measuring 163 × 78 × 8.6 mm and weighing approximately 224 grams.
In terms of pricing, the device is offered in Austria for 599 Euro (approximately Rp12.2 million) for the 6GB/256GB RAM/ROM variant. In the Malaysian and Thai markets, the 8GB/256GB version is priced at 2,299 Ringgit (approximately Rp10 million) and 19,999 Baht (approximately Rp10.7 million) respectively. The phone is available in two colours: Surfing Blue and Lunar Black.
