Operational Restrictions on Freight Transport for Eid 2026: Schedule, Toll Roads and Operating Hours

In support of facilitating the smooth flow of homecoming and return traffic during Eid 2026, the Ministry of Public Works (PU) has implemented operational restrictions on freight transport.

The restrictions are being imposed to minimise congestion on several toll road sections and to allow passenger transport to move more freely towards their destinations.

“This measure is being taken to reduce traffic density, minimise potential accident risks, whilst ensuring that private vehicles and passenger transport can move more smoothly,” explained the official Instagram account of the Ministry of Public Works, @kementerianpu, on Wednesday (11 March 2026).

The following is a list of criteria for freight transport vehicles whose operations are restricted during the Eid 2026 period. Certain toll road sections are restricted and cannot be traversed by freight transport vehicles during Eid 2026, covering routes in Sumatra, DKI Jakarta, and Banten.
