Open Letter to the President Regarding the Acid Attack Case

Leaders from various civil society organisations, united under the Coalition for Solidarity with Andrie Yunus, unfurled banners and displayed an open letter intended for President Prabowo Subianto at the grounds of the State Secretariat Office in Jakarta on Friday (17/4/2026). The letter demands that the President ensure the handling of the acid attack case against KontraS Deputy Coordinator Andrie Yunus is conducted transparently, accountably, and impartially, and requests the establishment of a Joint Fact-Finding Team (TGPF). An activist from the Coalition for Solidarity with Andrie Yunus walked to deliver the open letter addressed to President Prabowo at the grounds of the State Secretariat Office in Jakarta on Friday (17/4/2026). The letter contains requests for the President to ensure the handling of the acid attack case against KontraS Deputy Coordinator Andrie Yunus is conducted transparently, accountably, and impartially, and calls for the formation of a Joint Fact-Finding Team (TGPF).
