Only One Batch Left! Check the Guide for Registering for the Free Jakarta Homecoming Program 2026: Requirements, Verification Locations, and Departure Schedules
The Jakarta Provincial Government has officially opened registration for the 2026 Free Homecoming Program. With the theme “Safe, Comfortable, Bringing Happy Memories,” this program is a solution for Jakarta residents who want to celebrate Eid al-Fitr in their hometowns without the burden of transportation costs.
Unlike previous years, this year’s registration is done in stages in three batches based on the destination city. This aims to maintain the stability of the online registration system on the official website https://mudikgratis.jakarta.go.id.
People are asked to pay attention to the registration schedule according to their respective destination cities. Registration will be automatically closed if the quota for that batch has been met. Here is the schedule:
Destination Cities: Solo, Tasikmalaya, Palembang, Madiun, Sragen, and Cilacap.
Destination Cities: Yogyakarta, Kuningan, Lampung, Tegal, Kebumen, Jombang, and Pekalongan.
Destination Cities: Wonogiri, Kediri, Malang, Wonosobo, Purwokerto, Semarang, and Sidoarjo.
For residents who want to go home to cities listed in Batch 3, this is your last chance. Make sure you are ready in front of your device when registration opens so you don’t run out of quota.
To facilitate the online registration process, prepare the following required documents in digital or physical form for verification:
The Jakarta Provincial Government has set the following departure schedules for the outbound and return trips:
Important Note: Free homecoming tickets are strictly prohibited from being resold or transferred. Registrants who are detected to have registered multiple times in other agency’s homecoming programs will be automatically canceled by the system.
Immediately prepare your documents and continue to monitor the available quota on the official website. Don’t miss the last batch to celebrate Eid safely, comfortably, and happily with family in your hometown!
This program prioritizes Jakarta ID card holders, but non-Jakarta ID card holders who work in Jakarta can still try to register as long as quotas are available and they meet the verification requirements.
Verification can be done at the Sub-Department of Transportation Office in the five administrative city areas of Jakarta and at the Tennis Court Complex of the Technical Department in Central Jakarta.
Each registrant (head of household/representative) can add a maximum of 3 additional family members who are registered in the same Family Card (KK).
