Only Halfway Through the Year, Mataram's Abattoir Levy Reaches 75 Per Cent
The realisation of levies from the abattoir (RPH) and livestock market sector in Mataram City is showing a positive trend. By mid-2026, levy collections from the sector had reached approximately 75 per cent of the set target.
The Head of the Livestock Division at the Mataram City Agriculture Office, Lalu Hapiludin, stated that the locally generated revenue (PAD) target for the RPH and livestock market this year is around Rp 500 million. This levy target remains the same as the previous year’s target.
“The PAD target, if I am not mistaken, is Rp 500 million; the RPH is combined with the livestock market. In previous years, our PAD was always exceeded. It could even reach 150 per cent,” said Hapiludin when confirmed on Thursday (18/6/2026).
Hapiludin revealed that the levy realisation for the RPH and livestock market this year is considered excellent. By the middle of the year, the levy realisation had already filled three-quarters of the target. “The current position seems to be better. Mid-year can reach 75 per cent,” he explained.
Meanwhile, the calculation of levy realisation for the RPH and livestock market in Mataram City is based on the tariff per head of animal slaughtered. The difference in slaughter tariffs is divided by sex. A male animal is charged Rp 25,000 and a female Rp 30,000. “For per head, males are Rp 25,000 and females are Rp 30,000 per head,” he disclosed.
It was previously reported that Mataram City’s Locally Generated Revenue (PAD) as of March 2026 had reached Rp 130 billion, equivalent to 19.91 per cent of the Rp 656 billion target. The Mataram City Government is optimistic that this year’s PAD can meet the target through several regional apparatus organisations (OPD) by the end of 2026.
“From the Rp 656 billion target, only Rp 130 billion has been realised, equivalent to 19.91 per cent as of March 2026,” said the Head of the Mataram City Regional Finance Agency (BKD), Muhamad Ramayoga, previously. Ramayoga detailed that the realisation of regional taxes stood at Rp 72 billion from a target of Rp 311 billion, or 23.2 per cent. Meanwhile, levy realisation had only reached Rp 56 billion from a target of Rp 326 billion, or 17.3 per cent. “The percentage in this first quarter has already met the target. The target was around 20 per cent, and this is already 19.91 per cent,” he clarified.
