Onion Prices Fall as Rice, Eggs, and Chicken Rise: Check the Full List

Bank Indonesia (BI), through the National Strategic Food Price Information Centre (PIHPS), reported that the price of low-quality rice I remained stagnant at Rp 14,750 per kg, and the price of low-quality rice II also held steady at Rp 14,550 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of medium-quality rice I rose by Rp 50 to Rp 16,400 per kg, and medium-quality rice II similarly increased by Rp 50 to Rp 16,200 per kg. The price of super-quality rice I climbed by Rp 50 to Rp 17,700 per kg, though super-quality rice II stagnated at Rp 17,150 per kg. The price of medium-sized shallots fell by Rp 1,650 to Rp 42,150, followed by medium-sized garlic, which also dropped by Rp 1,050 to Rp 42,700 per kg. Furthermore, the price of purebred chicken eggs rose by Rp 300 to Rp 29,600 per kg, and fresh chicken meat increased by Rp 650 to Rp 39,100 per kg. The price of large red chillies reached Rp 48,150 per kg, curly red chillies stood at Rp 46,250 per kg, green bird’s eye chillies at Rp 51,850 per kg, and red bird’s eye chillies at Rp 54,400 per kg. Fresh purebred chicken meat was priced at Rp 39,100 per kg, quality I beef at Rp 150,900 per kg, and quality II beef at Rp 141,900 per kg. Premium quality granulated sugar was recorded at Rp 20,300 per kg, and local granulated sugar at Rp 19,100 per kg. Lastly, bulk cooking oil was priced at Rp 20,450 per litre, branded packaged cooking oil I at Rp 24,300 per litre, and branded packaged cooking oil II at Rp 23,400 per litre.
