Ongoing terror

Until now, innocent Jakartans, who have nothing to do with the
politicians vying for power, have become the unfortunate victims
of various bombings; naturally fear is widespread in Jakarta.

The people have already suffered for such a long time, due to
the inability and insincere intentions of the past regime, and
are rendered far more miserable by today's unfunctioning elite.

Another type of terror is the hundreds of children and their
mothers suffering from malnutrition, which will certainly
endanger their future.

Today thousands of children do not attend school, because
their parents cannot afford the fees. Many of these children try
to desperately survive on the streets by resorting to any means
of earning money for their livelihood. Ironically the so-called
school subsidies are enjoyed by children of richer families.

The above are just a few items in the long list of the
people's predicaments, while these are the very same people who
have paid various taxes since their birth in their own country
and who have to take care of numerous matters (actually the
state's responsibility) in their own way.

I hope it is still effective to make an appeal to the
government, the members of the House of Representatives as well
as the Councils to immediately discard their "adventurous"
behavior and heed the people's needs.
