OnePlus launches world's thinnest magnetic smartphone cooler

Jakarta (ANTARA) - OnePlus has recently introduced a unique product called the Magnetic Ice Cooling Clip, which is claimed to be the world’s thinnest magnetic smartphone cooler. The product was released during the launch event of the OnePlus 15T on Tuesday (24/3) local time, as reported by Gizmochina. This cooler is priced affordably at 179 yuan (approximately Rp439,000) and is designed to provide efficient cooling support in a lightweight and compact form. Breaking down its specifications, the OnePlus Magnetic Ice Cooling Clip features a sleek design resembling a power bank with a thickness of 9.8 millimetres at its thinnest point and a weight of just 68 grams. Its dimensions measure 87.6x62x9.8 mm, with some structural variations reaching up to 11.9 mm. The cooling system includes a thermoelectric cooler (TEC), progressive curved air channels, and a low-noise centrifugal fan. The curved air channel design ensures that cool air enters from the top, while hot air exits from the side, maintaining user hand comfort during extended use. The cooler has a dual-mode cooling system, allowing users to switch between silent mode to reduce noise during tasks like streaming and photography, and performance mode for maximum cooling during gaming and heavy workloads. Not only compatible with Android devices, this cooler is also compatible with Apple devices such as the iPhone, with magnetic strength up to 10N for a secure connection. The device also supports Bluetooth connectivity for advanced settings via ColorOS X, which can be found on OnePlus or Oppo phones. The device operates via a USB Type-C connection with a maximum power input of 5V/3A.
