JAKARTA - PT XLSMART Teleco Sejahtera Tbk (XLSMART) recorded revenue growth of up to 23 percent (year on year) at the end of 2025, marking the company’s first year of operations. XLSMART is the merger of PT XL Axiata Tbk and PT Smartfren Telecom Tbk, which became effective on 16 April 2025. Celebrating the first anniversary of the merger, President Director & CEO of XLSMART, Rajeev Sethi, stated that this anniversary serves as a moment for reflection to accelerate the company’s integration. “We also want to use this momentum to express appreciation to all employees and their families, who are the main foundation behind every company achievement,” said Rajeev in his official statement on Sunday (26/4/2026). XLSMART is committed to building an innovative work environment, supporting employee talent development, and delivering the best experience for customers. According to Rajeev, the revenue growth demonstrates XLSMART’s solid performance in line with the increasing public demand for network and digital services. Rajeev also noted that the company has successfully realised synergies in the first year of the merger, faster than the target. Rajeev revealed that XLSMART now has 73 million customers in the country. They use a network with quality that continues to be strengthened in line with telecommunications infrastructure developments. Network capacity and service coverage are also being enhanced to ensure customers have more stable, fast, and high-quality connections. One manifestation of service improvement is that XLSMART now offers 5G services in 33 cities/regencies and will continue to expand. XLSMART is also opening opportunities for other services such as developing the Internet of Things (IoT) ecosystem, cloud-based services, and other digital solutions to support industrial transformation. That programme encourages women’s involvement in the digital economy ecosystem. XLSMART Future Ready will collaborate with various parties, including the Ministry of Manpower, communities, and global companies such as ZTE and Huawei, to maximise the programme. XLSMART targets the programme to reach one million participants and open job opportunities for 1,000 selected talents. Sisternet also empowers female small and medium enterprises (SMEs) through training, mentoring, and digital literacy. “This programme has reached more than 4,000 female SMEs in various regions of Indonesia,” said Rajeev.
