Danantara Indonesia marked one year of its institutional journey through a joint reflection activity held at Wisma Danantara in Jakarta on Tuesday, 11 March 2026. The event was attended by the President, Cabinet Ministers, and Danantara leadership and personnel.

President Prabowo Subianto provided guidance on the importance of maintaining integrity, disciplined governance, and long-term orientation in managing state assets to strengthen the foundation of national economic development.

Prabowo emphasised that Danantara Indonesia was established to ensure state asset management is conducted professionally and oriented towards the nation’s long-term interests. In this manner, it is capable of delivering tangible added value to national development and public welfare.

Prabowo stated that Indonesia now possesses a state investment management institution comparable to sovereign wealth funds at the global level. Within this first year, Prabowo noted, it is already evident that with sound management, disciplined governance, and strong commitment, state asset management performance can increase significantly.

“However, this achievement is only the beginning. Going forward, we must continue to strengthen governance and improve performance so that state asset management truly delivers maximum benefit to the Indonesian people,” said Prabowo.

The one-year celebration carried the theme “One Danantara”, reflecting the spirit of state-owned enterprises to move in unified steps in strengthening the foundation of national economy and creating wider impact for future generations.

Rosan Roeslani, CEO of Danantara Indonesia, stated that the first year of Danantara’s journey focused on building strong institutional foundations and governance. He emphasised that the direction of state investment management remains grounded in creating long-term benefits for society.

“State asset management must ultimately deliver tangible impact for the nation’s future. Therefore, commitment to future generation development is also an important part of Danantara Indonesia’s journey,” said Rosan.

This commitment is reflected not only in strengthening governance and state asset management structures, but also in various initiatives affirming that development results must deliver tangible benefits to society, including young Indonesians.

Through the milestone of one year, Danantara Indonesia reaffirmed its commitment to continue strengthening governance foundations, improving state asset management quality, and driving strategic investments delivering long-term economic and social impact for Indonesia.

“This first year is a foundation-building phase. Going forward, our focus is ensuring these foundations are translated into tangible performance through strong governance, professional state asset management, and strategic investments delivering benefit to the national economy and the future of Indonesian generations,” said Rosan.

School Supply Assistance

As a symbol of commitment to the nation’s children’s future, a symbolic handover of 88,000 school supply packages for children across Indonesia was also conducted on the occasion. This programme was implemented simultaneously by state-owned enterprises in various regions as a form of support for educational access and preparation of Indonesia’s Golden Generation.

PT PLN (Persero), which forms part of the Danantara Indonesia ecosystem, supported improved educational access for Indonesian children through distribution of 5,000 school supply packages to students in West Kalimantan, Southeast Sulawesi, and South Papua provinces.

PLN’s President Director, Darmawan Prasodjo, stated that PLN’s involvement in this programme represents the company’s commitment to fostering superior, competitive generations ready to embrace Indonesia’s Golden Future.

“For PLN, education is an important foundation in shaping the character and future of Indonesian children. We hope this provision of school supply packages can foster learning spirit and provide motivation for them to continue pursuing their aspirations,” said Darmawan.
