One-Way Traffic System Officially Implemented on Cipali Toll Road KM 72 to KM 188

One-way traffic management was officially implemented on the Cipali toll road section from kilometre 72 to kilometre 188 at precisely 3:21 PM. This implementation forms part of the first phase of one-way traffic engineering from KM 70 (Jakarta–Cikampek) to KM 263 (Pejagan–Pemalang).

Preparatory measures including sterilisation of the Jakarta-bound lane and rest areas along the corridor had been conducted since 1:00 PM. The entire traffic engineering operation was conducted according to the discretion and direct instructions of the police in the field.

From midnight to 3:00 PM, approximately 41,000 vehicles were recorded passing Cikopo towards Cirebon. This traffic volume represented a 27% increase compared to the same time period the previous day.

“Overall, traffic volume on the Cipali toll road section monitored an 18% increase compared to volume at the same time yesterday,” said Ardam Rafif Trisilo, Head of Sustainability Management & Corporate Communications at Astra Tol Cipali, on Tuesday (17 March).

Astra Tol Cipali urged all road users to prioritise safety, maintain safe distances between vehicles, and comply with instructions from field officers during the implementation of the traffic engineering measures.
