Police will implement a one-way traffic system on the Cikopo-Palimanan (Cipali) toll road on Tuesday, 17 March. The one-way system will be enforced from kilometre 70 to kilometre 263.

Head of Traffic Police Irjen Agus Suryonugroho stated that the one-way system is being implemented due to increased traffic volume on the toll road. “At 3:00 PM we will implement the one-way system from kilometre 70 to kilometre 263,” Agus told journalists.

According to Agus, traffic flow reports, particularly on the toll road heading towards Trans Java, show a substantial increase in volume.

“Therefore, following analysis and coordination with stakeholders, the Minister and the Managing Director of PT Jasa Marga, we will conduct public information activities for the first phase of one-way implementation in the national one-way traffic zone,” he said.

After the information campaign, Agus said, officers will conduct inspections of various toll road sections, including rest areas.

Agus expressed hope that the one-way traffic management system on this toll road will facilitate smoother Eid holiday travel in 2026.

“Hopefully with this traffic management measure, holiday travellers will be able to travel faster and more smoothly to reach the Trans Java route,” he said.
