Jakarta — Under police discretion, the first phase of one-way traffic management from Km 70 of the Jakarta–Cikampek toll road to Km 263 of the Pejagan–Pemalang toll road has been officially implemented from 3:00 PM.

The one-way scheme has been introduced to manage increased traffic volumes during the 2026 Lebaran holiday period and represents a joint effort between Jasa Marga Group, police, and the Transport Ministry to maintain smooth vehicle distribution towards the east along the Trans-Java corridor, particularly during peak exodus periods.

PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) has undertaken extensive operational preparations across the Trans-Java section to support the smooth implementation of the one-way traffic management scheme.

These measures include the installation of signage and traffic cones to support traffic control arrangements, the deployment of traffic officers and security personnel at strategic points, and the optimisation of toll gate capacity through booth readiness.

Additionally, JTT has conducted intensive coordination with police regarding the opening and closing of entry points and has ensured the readiness of towing services, ambulances, and round-the-clock toll road patrols to maintain road user safety and comfort.

JTT has also ensured the readiness of rest stops and service areas, including capacity management through situational opening and closing procedures to prevent congestion within rest areas.

“JTT, together with stakeholders, has prepared various precautionary measures, including support for the implementation of situational one-way traffic management. We urge road users to plan their journeys carefully and follow the instructions of field officers for the safety and smooth flow of traffic,” said Ria in an official statement on Tuesday (17 March 2026).
