One way traffic in Central Jakarta

JAKARTA (JP): The city land transport control agency will
impose one way traffic flow on sections of Jl. Diponegoro and Jl.
Proklamasi, Central Jakarta, in a bid to ease traffic jams on Jl.
Salemba Raya.

The regulation, which will take effect on Feb. 28, stipulates
that part of Jl. Diponegoro -- from Megaria-Jl. Diponegoro
crossing to Salemba-Jl. Diponegoro crossing -- will be one-way and
that road users coming from the opposite direction should use Jl.
Matraman Dalam and Jl. Proklamasi.

In the meantime, Jl. Proklamasi will also be changed to a one
way route from Jl. Proklamasi-Jl. Tambak to Jl. Diponegoro-
Megaria crossings.(yns)
