One-Way System to Jakarta Prepared on Cipali Toll Road

JAKARTA – A one-way traffic engineering system towards Jakarta will be enforced on the Trans Java Toll Road section on Monday (23/3/2026). Astra Tol Cipali stated that this policy is based on instructions from the National Police Traffic Corps, starting from KM 263 of the Pejagan-Pemalang Toll Road section to KM 70 of the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road section. “As a preparatory step, officers will begin cleaning the lane (sterilisation) at 14:00 WIB, with the implementation time according to police discretion,” said Ardam Rafif Trisilo, Head of Sustainability Management & Corporate Communications Department at Astra Tol Cipali. Recent traffic data Based on data from 00:00 to 13:00 WIB on H+1 Eid al-Fitr, the flow of vehicles towards Jakarta was monitored to increase significantly with busy but smooth conditions. Approximately 23,000 vehicles have passed Cikopo towards Jakarta, an increase of 139 percent compared to the same period the previous day. Meanwhile, the flow of vehicles towards Cirebon was observed to decrease with around 21,000 vehicles, or 33 percent lower than the previous day. Overall, the total traffic volume on the Cipali Toll Road section until midday today increased by about 6 percent compared to the same period yesterday. To maintain smooth traffic flow and safety, Astra Tol Cipali advises road users not to stop on the road shoulder, except in emergencies. In addition, drivers are asked to ensure their vehicle condition and physical state are in top form, and not to force themselves to drive if feeling tired or drowsy.
