One-Way System to Jakarta Halted, Puncak Bogor Route Returns to Two-Way Traffic

The one-way system or one-way implemented on Jalan Raya Puncak, Bogor, towards Jakarta has ended. Traffic flow is now normal in both directions. “Currently, the Puncak tourist route is operating normally in both directions, from Puncak towards Jakarta and vice versa,” said Head of Traffic Police of Bogor Police Resort Iptu Afif Widhi Ananto to reporters on Wednesday (25/3). The one-way system towards Jakarta started at 12:00 WIB and ended around 16:30 WIB. Vehicles heading to Puncak, which were previously stopped, can now pass through again. Earlier, the Traffic Unit of Bogor Police implemented one-way towards Jakarta on Jalan Raya Puncak, Bogor, this afternoon. The one-way was applied to prioritise vehicles returning to Jakarta. “We are giving priority to the public who want to return from Puncak towards Jakarta. We are implementing one-way downhill or from Puncak towards Jakarta, and this is still ongoing,” said Head of Traffic Police of Bogor Police Resort Iptu Afif Widhi Ananto at Simpang Gadog. Vehicles heading to Puncak via Jagorawi Toll Road were temporarily stopped at Km 46 before Simpang Gadog. Meanwhile, vehicles from the Ciawi direction were stopped around SPBU Gadog. Afif urged the public to comply with traffic regulations and instructions from officers in the field.
