JAKARTA – The one-way traffic engineering on the national route from KM 70 of the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road to KM 414 at the Kalikangkung Toll Gate has been officially discontinued. Vehicle flow on the Trans-Java Toll Road has now returned to normal in both directions.

The discontinuation of the one-way system was carried out after traffic conditions were observed to be easing and vehicle volumes gradually decreasing following the peak of the Eid al-Fitr homecoming traffic in 2026.

During its implementation, all lanes on that toll section were focused on vehicles heading east, while those heading to Jakarta were diverted to arterial roads or other traffic schemes prepared by officials.

However, as traffic volumes decreased, the police and toll road operators conducted an evaluation. The result was that the national one-way engineering was no longer needed and was discontinued.

Before the discontinuation, the police had stated that this policy was situational and would be revoked once vehicle flow returned to normal.

With the national one-way scheme discontinued, the entire Trans-Java Toll Road from KM 70 to KM 414 can now be traversed by vehicles in both directions normally.

Nevertheless, road users are still urged to be careful, maintain safe distances, and ensure vehicle condition and sufficient e-money balance before travelling.
