One-Way Return Traffic on Trans-Java Toll Road Km 263-70 Discontinued
Traffic engineering for one-way travel on the Trans-Java Toll Road during the 2026 Lebaran return flow is now undergoing normalisation. The one-way system has been halted from Km 263 at the Kalikangkung Toll Gate to Km 70 at the Cikampek Utama (Cikatama) Toll Gate.
“This afternoon, we are also adding more normalisation; previously from 414 to 263, now from 263 we are normalising again, sterilising up to 70,” said Head of Indonesian National Police Traffic Corps Inspector General Agus Suryonugroho in Karanganyar, Central Java, on Wednesday (25/3/2026).
“So at 15:30, we have just opened the normal lane from the Trans-Java section, particularly from Kalikangkung Semarang to Km 70,” he added.
From Km 70 onwards, several traffic engineering measures, such as contraflow, will still be implemented. Some functional toll roads are also still open.
“At Km 70, we are still applying traffic engineering from Km 70 to 55; we are maintaining a one-lane contraflow,” he stated.
“Likewise, from West Java, we are still applying and opening the Japek II Selatan functional toll from Sadang, Deltamas, to Setu, and then it can enter JORR,” he added.
Inspector General Agus stated that so far, the 2026 Lebaran return flow has been managed well. The number of fatal accidents has decreased.
“So we report that up to now it has been quite well managed. Indeed, the flow is dense because it is Lebaran, and it has been managed well by us,” he said.
