One-Way Return Flow Extended to KM 263, Cikampek Utama Toll Gate Adds 26 Lanes
The 2026 Lebaran return flow is beginning to experience a significant increase. To ease vehicle density from the east towards Jakarta, PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) is optimising operations at Cikampek Utama Toll Gate while supporting the implementation of one-way traffic engineering. As a crucial intersection point for vehicles from the Trans-Java Toll Road, Cikampek Utama Toll Gate is the main focus for regulating the return flow to keep it smooth and controlled. With the rising vehicle volume, this scheme has been extended from KM 263 on the Pejagan-Pemalang toll road section to KM 70 at Cikampek Utama Toll Gate at 10:23 WIB. The one-way implementation is situational and based on police discretion, so it may change at any time according to on-site traffic conditions. The number of lanes can be increased to 26 situationally to anticipate surges in vehicle volume during the peak return flow. “JTT fully supports the traffic engineering policy set by the Police. We ensure that vehicle flow remains smooth and road users feel safe and comfortable,” said Ria in an official statement on Friday (27/3/2026). Traffic conditions are monitored in real time through CCTV integrated with the control centre, allowing for quicker responses to congestion. Road users are urged to plan their travel routes, ensure vehicle condition, prepare sufficient electronic money balance, and comply with signs and instructions from on-site officers. For the latest traffic information, road users can contact Jasa Marga’s One Call Centre at 133 or use the Travoy application. With service optimisation and the gradual implementation of one-way return flow, it is hoped that the journey back to Jakarta will proceed more smoothly and safely.
